Who makes SantaPair

SantaPair is designed, built and run by Atharv Tathe, an independent developer. It isn't backed by a big company, and every feature, translation and guide on the site is maintained by hand. If something isn't working, or you have an idea that would make your gift exchange easier, you're writing directly to the person who builds it.

Why SantaPair exists

Most online Secret Santa tools ask every participant to sign up, hand over an email address, or trust a company with their group's names and wishlists. SantaPair takes a simpler approach: open a page, add names, draw, and send everyone a private link. No accounts, no inboxes, no database.

What makes it different

• Private by design. The draw happens in your browser. Each person's match travels inside their own link and is decoded on their device. Read the details on our privacy page.
• Fair rules that actually work. Keep couples and households apart, avoid gift swaps, or make sure nobody gets the same person as last year. The generator checks your rules before you draw.
• Honest about the organizer. Matches are never shown on the organizer's screen. If a participant's link is opened on the organizing device, SantaPair asks first and keeps a visible note.
• Made for real groups. Private links, QR codes, printable cards and a pass-the-phone mode cover remote teams, family dinners and classrooms alike.

How SantaPair is funded

SantaPair is free to use. We may show ads or include affiliate links on our guide pages to cover running costs. If we do, they'll be clearly disclosed, and we will never sell or share the names, wishlists or matches you enter. We never receive them in the first place.
